BOULDER – Janet Thompson and Kirsty Daviau, a mother and daughter team and the founders of Thompson Daviau Realty, are proud to announce their office, located at 4450 Arapahoe Avenue, Suite 100, Boulder, CO, is hosting a fall donation drive for Soles4Souls in honor of its ten-year anniversary and will be collecting donated shoes until November 23. “I strongly encourage everyone in the community to drop by our office and drop off a new or gently worn pair of shoes to help Soles4Souls fight poverty,” said Thompson.
Soles4Souls aims is to eradicate extreme poverty by 2050. Children every day are prevented from attending school and adults are unable to work as walking becomes unbearable, which perpetuates the cycle of poverty. To date, Soles4Souls has collected and distributed more than 26 million pairs of shoes to those in need in 127 countries around the world and all 50 states in the U.S.
“Every pair of donated shoes counts, and can provide relief today so thousands can succeed tomorrow,” concluded Daviau. “Everyone in the world should have at least one good pair of shoes.”
