BOULDER – Before we dive further into 2016, we’d like to take a moment to reflect back. In 2015 RE/MAX of Boulder, Inc. closed $1,110,891,594.85 in total sales volume, the highest ever attained by our office since Tom Kalinski opened our doors in 1977. We are extremely proud of this milestone as it shows our experience, professionalism and expertise in handling your most important investment; real estate. Now, onward and upward.

You’ll have to bear down with your buyers, again, as it does not appear that 2016 will bring reprieve to the inventory shortage regarding properties for sale in Boulder County. The total active single family residential listings available to purchase in all of Boulder County totaled 570 as of March 10. That number is down 4.5% YTD, and moreover, 46% of those 570 listings were under contract.

This inventory crunch creates quite the seller’s market. The average sales price of a single family home in Boulder County through January and February of 2016 sits at $595,849. That’s a 13% increase compared to this time last year.
