LAFAYETTE – Something very exciting is happening on Saturday, May 5: McStain Neighborhoods is hosting a Model Grand Opening for their new community at Harvest Ridge in Lafayette. Visitors can explore the final niche of the Indian Peaks master planned community, tour the newest McStain model homes, and enjoy the trail system and parks that adjoin the neighborhood. But that’s not all – McStain has partnered with the Boulder Valley Humane Society to bring some four-legged friends to this grand opening event.

BVHS representatives will be on site with information about adoptions and a few furry friends in tow. You might not only gain a new home, but a new family member, as well! “We know that many of our homebuyers have pets,” says Barbara Anderson, marketing director for McStain Neighborhoods. “The BVHS is near and dear to our hearts, as we recognize that pets are part of the McStain lifestyle. By partnering with this organization, we feel it gives exposure to this program that helps our community.” For every person that registers for the Model Grand Opening event, McStain will make a donation to BVHS in their name.

While the promise of puppy love might draw you to this new community, it’s the amenities and unique environment that will make you want to stay. “The homes themselves live really well,” says Anderson. “They are well proportioned, with sizeable rooms and spacious living areas, storage and full basements.” Each of the four home plans available at Harvest Ridge – the Grove, the Wheaton, and two versions of the Orchard – includes 3 to 4 bedrooms, some with main floor masters and up to 3,000 square feet of living space.

This collection of attached, single family homes is the last enclave of the Indian Peaks community, providing unparalleled access to outdoor amenities with trails, parks and spacious backyards for your furry family members. Harvest Ridge offers the ideal living arrangement for empty nesters and young families alike, as well as every homebuyer in between. “Harvest Ridge gives people the opportunity to live in Boulder County, with close proximity to work and schools at an attainable price,” says Anderson. “In addition to the location and price, these homes feature private back yards with covered patios, perfect for entertaining or enjoying a peaceful sunset. This setting is hard to beat.”

The Model Grand Opening runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 5 at 2001 Aster Lane in Lafayette (off Baseline, across from Gold Hill Drive).
