Oakwood Homes has launched the next phase of the master planned community Green Valley Ranch in Aurora. Green Valley Ranch in Aurora is a community made for those who want it all. The neighborhood’s prime location just 20 minutes east of downtown Denver boasts close proximity to the airport; numerous shopping centers and restaurants; the newly-opened, luxurious Gaylord Hotel; and the coveted Aurora school district and metro area. The Aurora Highlands is one of the most popular and fastest-growing housing areas in the region and Green Valley Ranch Aurora is in the center of it all. “It’s all here,” says Kyleigh Shaw, marketing manager for Oakwood Homes. “Everything you love about Green Valley Ranch is now in Aurora.”

One of the gems of this special community is the lush and impressive Green Valley Ranch Golf Club. The award-winning 18-hole course hosts the CoBank Colorado Open each year. This club is also home to the First Tee of Green Valley Ranch, which provides golf programs for youth 5 to 18 years old.

Green Valley Ranch is offers to an impressive spread of shopping and dining options, including the new Ebert’s Terrace at Green Valley Ranch Golf Course. Frederick J. Ebert drafted the first map of the Colorado territory, which was issued in 1862. A surveyor, civil engineer and politician, he invested in the stock and dairy business, and one of his farms used to be located on the land around Green Valley Ranch.

The new restaurant Ebert’s Terrace celebrates local Colorado farms with a creative menu that features native ingredients like Bjorns Colorado Honey, Aspen Ridge Beef and River Bear American Meats. While dishes like Deep Fried Ribs and Whipped Mozzarella Toast might draw eager diners to Ebert’s, it’s the environment that keeps them coming back: the terrace overlooks the golf course and provides expansive vistas of the Rocky Mountains.

All of these amenities are already constructed and open, ready for the residents of Green Valley Ranch Aurora. New residents also have planned amenities to look forward to. These include new parks and trails, as well as a brand new school.

In addition to stellar location and amenities, the energy efficiency of the homes at Green Valley Ranch is something homeowners are sure to love. With their Oakwood EnergySmart Guarantee, Oakwood Homes ensures that their homes are above industry standards when it comes to water efficiency, energy usage, and, as a result, cost savings for the homeowner. Oakwood also makes a unique effort to reduce waste during the home building process by pre-building walls, floors and trusses.

Oakwood Homes offers three collections at Green Valley Ranch Aurora, with options for first-time home buyers to forever-home buyers and everyone in between. The three collections are Carriage House, Meridian and Horizon.

The Carriage House collection at Green Valley Ranch Aurora features two and three story homes, many situated on desirable, quiet cul-de-sacs. Starting in the low $300s, homes in this collection feature an exclusive option for additional outdoor living and mountain views. “Our roof top decks are a unique feature that we offer in our Carriage House collection,” says Shaw. “These homes offer that extra ‘wow’ factor with some of the best Front Range views.”

The low-maintenance Carriage House models are available in seven floor plans with up to 2,210 total square feet. The smallest of the Carriage House Collection is the Chaise, a two-bedroom, 2.5 bath totaling about 1,200 square feet.
