LONGMONT – Infrastructure is scheduled to be completed in summer 2018 at West Grange, a new community from Boulder-based Markel Homes. The 126-acre parcel is located at the southeast corner of Nelson Road and 75th Street in southwest Longmont.

West Grange backs to hundreds of acres of Boulder County open space, set against rolling foothills and the peaks of the Back Range. Residents will enjoy access to numerous hiking and biking trails as well as convenience to Boulder, Hygiene, Lyons and other Boulder County destinations. The new 23-acre Dry Creek Community Park is just south of West Grange, with walking paths and an accessible playground, an 18-hole disc golf course, and Dry Creek Greenway trail connections. The expanded Lagerman Agricultural Preserve is just down the street on 75th.

West Grange has been approved for a build-out of 599 new homes. Current plans call for a mix of single-family and multi-family homes, including single-level and two-story homes, custom homes, duplexes and town homes. Markel Homes is partnering with Denver-based McStain Neighborhoods in the building of homes at West Grange.

West Grange borders three award-winning Longmont schools, including Blue Mountain Elementary, Altona Middle School and Silver Creek High School, with parks and playing fields nearby.
