BOULDER – Realtor Barbara Dawson comes to RE/MAX of Boulder with an esteemed 30-year career encompassing multi-faceted experience and knowledge in all aspects of residential real estate, planning, development, homebuilding, and even advocacy.

From the time she took college classes that led to a degree in urban planning, and worked for a multi-family development office, which motivated her to earn her real estate license, Barbara has aspired to an advanced level of knowledge and professional training. Her designations include Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Graduate Real Estate Institute (GRI). She has extensive experience in residential homes and condos, new construction, neighborhood development, single family homes and multi-family investment properties, and vacation homes.
Having lived in Wisconsin, where she raised her three children, she has had a successful track record of selling hundreds of homes in the Madison metro area. She also served as a political coordinator for the National Association of Realtors (NAR), speaking with legislators and regulators in Washington D.C. to help homeowners in Wisconsin and across the country. Barbara was a member of the Madison Area Builders Association Women’s Council for 10 years and she proudly served in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
Barbara moved to Boulder to be closer to her daughter and her grandchild, and to pursue her passion for helping families sell their homes and find the perfect place to make their home.
In her free time, she enjoys the scenic outdoors here in Colorado whether on the ski slopes or tennis court, both sports she previously taught and coached. She stays very active hiking, biking, swimming, and playing ice hockey. Most of all, she treasures her time with her grandbaby.
