Patrick Chang
BOULDER – RE/MAX of Boulder welcomes Patrick Chang, who has joined the company under the mentorship of Realtor Wendy Kahn-Robson. Patrick has lived in the Boulder area since 1993 and graduated from both Fairview High School and CU-Boulder. He spent his childhood in Louisville, then lived in Boulder during his college years and in Denver where he lived for three years before moving back to North Boulder. Having been immersed in a different city and neighborhood in the Boulder area during every stage of his life, his multi-faceted, insider knowledge of the area along with his deep roots and a passion for the lifestyle are instrumental as he guides his clients through their transition to a new home.
With a professional background in finance and in software consulting, Patrick possesses a unique and invaluable set of skills and expertise. He started his career as a financial advisor at Charles Schwab where he earned his Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. He provided strategic advice about investment as well as budgeting for short- and long- term investments and retirement goals. With his mastery of finance, he is now able to offer exceptional guidance to his real estate clients about one of the largest financial investments of their lives and consult with them about wealth management through their real estate investments.
After working in finance, Patrick moved on to project management in software companies, first at Amadeus Consulting (previously headquartered in Boulder), then climbing the ranks to Director of Delivery Management at Exadel, and eventually to the C-suite level as the Chief Operating Officer at Mediotype and VP of Commerce at Blue Acorn iCi. In these roles, he led project teams and company divisions, overseeing the development and successful implementation of innovative applications.
Patrick has always had a deep interest in real estate and is excited to make this career change. He is analytical, meticulous, and process-minded, able to oversee complex logistical details to produce superb outcomes through a solutions-oriented mindset. At the same time, he is also an outstanding communicator who is empathetic, patient
and a careful listener, accustomed to a very high level of professionalism and discretion with a total focus on his client’s needs.
In addition, Patrick has a tremendous ability to analyze housing market research and trends within his broader knowledge of economics and financial markets. He also has exceptional fluency in the latest real estate technology to optimize transaction management and marketing.
He speaks Mandarin and is happy to assist international clientele.
When he is not working, Patrick is an avid golfer who also enjoys running and hiking. He’s the father of an 11-month daughter and loves being a new father.
